As Valentine’s Day approaches, CBS 10 News talked with George’s Flowers to see how they have been preparing for the big holiday. 

All across the country, florists have spent weeks getting ready for Valentine’s Day — the busiest time of year in the flower industry. George’s Flowers is no exception as business is blooming! In fact, Valentine’s Day is their largest holiday. According to owner George Clements, he and his team will see three weeks of typical business in just three days’ time. 

However, this year also comes with a new twist. Flowers imported from Colombia and Canada could have been affected by tariffs leading to a switch up in their usual flower supply.
